Here is the deal:
I want to make a fantastic offer available to the guild. Check out the chart below. My alt Garggan is a Master Blacksmith and is doing all he can to increase that skill even higher. This can be tremendously expensive to do and makes it necessary to pace work on the skill with the ability to sell the items.
I have come up with an idea that will benefit the guild and help me increase my skills... also benefiting the guild in the long run. This offer is open to GOWS members only, and armor made under this offer should be used and passed down in the guild.. not resold.
Most of the pieces listed below start at 350pp-500pp and up to 1800pp for the larger pieces. I can significantly reduce your costs on these items. The acrylia to make each piece is relatively easy to get... sometimes it takes a few days to put the ore together, but that part is doable by my toons. The hardest and most expensive part to making this armor is in the acquisition of the windstones. Two windstones are needed for each piece to make the temper that goes into the combine. These typically sell in the bazaar for 200pp or more. They can be found in the Tenebrous Mountains from the grimlings, crai ligi and meda hune and also in the Umbral Plains from the Moktar Tribesman.
Other incidentals that are needed for each piece are: 1 leather padding, 1 vial of clear mana, an appropriate mold and an essence of wind. These all can be acquired for usually under 100pp. Each piece also requires either 1, 2 or 3 blocks of acrylia that are either made by combining smaller pieces of acrylia ore or by looting or purchasing entire blocks.
My deal is this: Obtain for me 2 windstones per piece you want created. For you allowing me to be your blacksmith, I will foot the cost of the rest of the materials. If a combine fails, it might take me a bit longer to make your piece, but I will still foot the cost of the additional materials. I will gain in the long run by building my skill. You will get a GREAT deal on armor.

Lastly... several of you have indicated an interest to help with this project by supplying acrylia ore to the effort.
