Our Goal

Guardians of Wolven Spirit represents all that is free and wild. Our goal is to fun throughout the lands of Norrath while respecting individualized freedoms of all. We want to establish a playing environment that is positive for all the various player types. ( players for experience, loot, trade skills, quests or epic quests). With this in mind all members must be respectful to individual decisions that are made by each player.

Guild Relations

Advice and Assistance

If assistance or advice is needed just ask, somebody should be able to help you. At times there might not be anybody around so try to use other options available to you. As always guild members should come first before anything else unless you are in a situation where you are unable to help. (Example: group, corpse run, raid etc. Druids, Wizards and Clerics have an obligation to guild mates but will not be abused by others in the guild. If you are in need of a rez or port and nobody in guild can help then please find another way. Getting angry and demanding such services will result in your membership being reviewed by the Council of Elders with disciplinary action being taken.

Buying Selling and Trading of Useable Items

While playing we often loot items off of mobs or upgrade equipment as we increase in levels. If there is something you want to sell try selling it within the Guild first. If you are upgrading equipment and dont know what to do with the old try donating to the Guild Bank

Guild Bank

Guild officers will accept all donations and deposit them into the Guild Bank. Which will be readily available for loan to members in need.

                    Guild Meetings

Officer meetings will be held every other week on Sunday at 9pm est in EC tunnel. and posted on guild-motd. Council of Elders officers will need to attend all officer meetings to be informed of current issues and in the event they are not able to attend they must inform another officer in the Council of Elders.

Guild Events

Events such as raids, weddings and other activities will take place, but need member participation to be successful. Planning events will not be limited to the Council of Elders or recruiting officers but will be open to all members. Raid organizers will post date and time 1 week prior to the event on guild-motd. All those wishing to attend the event will contact the raid organizer via email with your class and level. This gives the organizer a better idea of how many players will attend so they will be able to form groups ahead of time. All participants will be online and at a meeting point one hour prior to raid. Those who show up late will not be able to join the raid once it has begun. Raid organizer who plan events and do not show up to their event will not be able to organize another raid. As always such events must be planned out so please check your real life calendars for any conflicts before planning such events. If at anytime there is not enough participation for a raid then such an event should be canceled. A raid should consist of 2 or more groups to be successful depending on the goal ( loot, experience, quest or epic).

Termination

The Guild leader will have the authority to terminate membership of any guild member. Gross negligence and malice against EQ play nice policies or Rules of Conduct that will result in the disbanding of the Guild is terms for immediate termination. No single officer has the authority to remove any players from guild without the incident being investigated by the Council of Elders.

Player Relations

Recruitment

Recruiting Officers and Officers of the Council of Elders have the ability to recruit new members with their discretion. Minimum level for recruitment will be twenty. Our goal is to have as many main characters in the guild as possible. All recruitments should be of a main character then all alternate characters will be allowed to join guild with no minimum requirements. As players advance in levels the minimum level requirement will increase.

Advancement

As the guild grows there will be a need to advance guildies to clan leaders but the space will be limited. There will be a Clan Leader for each specific class throughout Norrath. We are still working on the terms and conditions of this advancement system in order to make it fair for all guild members to participate.

Leaving the Guild

Those who leave family and friends for other opportunities can do so at anytime but we do not have an open door policy. If you would like to return the Council of Elders must vote on your return and have majority rule.

Guild Chat

All guild chat will be respectful of others and rated G. At no time will there be any class, race or equipment bashing. If anyone has a problem with another member of the guild he or she will take it to TELLS. There will be no tolerance for rl discrimination in the form of jokes towards race, color, religion or sexual preference. Such actions will require the Council of Elders to take immediate disciplinary action.

Disciplinary Actions

Will be decided by the Council of Elders when issues arise. A scale will be used depending on the severity of the problem. This could be in the form of a warning or immediate termination from guild. Guild members who receive multiple warnings and refuse to adjust their behavior to make the playing environment positive for all will be removed from the guild.
